Education & Career

I am the Health Equity Reporter for NPR-affiliate station WFYI and the Indianapolis Recorder. I produce radio, print, television and digital content. My work appears on NPR, WFYI and the BBC World Service.

My journalism career started during my undergraduate years as the editor-in-chief of the American University in Cairo's student-run newspaper, The Caravan. I covered the Arab Spring and the contentious political period that followed for local news organizations where I worked as a reporter and editor.
